Getting to Know Jessica
Jessica Hunter is a seasoned media professional with over 19 years of experience in commercial roles, as well as building and leading high-performing teams in corporate environments.
Jessica's extensive background includes expertise in media, publishing, events, marketing, advertising, and retail media, gained through working with leading companies such as News Corporation, Nine Entertainment Co, ACP Magazines, The Brag Media, Daily Mail/Mail Online, and Woolworths.
Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Jessica launched her first business at 16, teaching professionals how to navigate technological change. This early ambition foreshadowed her successful career launching and scaling Australian media businesses, including Cartology (Woolworths' pioneering retail media division) and Daily Mail Australia, where she led a 35-member cross-functional team.
In 2023, she spearheaded The Brag Media's growth as Head of the company, culminating in its acquisition by the ASX-listed Vinyl Group. Her leadership at The Brag Media focused on strategic initiatives, impactful partnerships, and targeted marketing to connect with young audiences.
A passionate mentor, Jessica was shortlisted for both Mentor and Champion of Change at the 2022 B&T Women in Media Awards. She has mentored through Woolworths' program (achieving Certified Mentor Loop Program Mentor status), the Sydney Marketing Society, and the Raise Foundation.
Recognising her own expertise, she prioritised developing her teams through consistent mentoring, coaching, and leading internal workshops, rather than relying solely on external coaches.
Today, Jessica is the founder of M.E. Masters, a platform empowering young people, professionals, and women through programs, retreats (including The Confidence Project & Mastering Self & Soul Retreats), and coaching.
